Domiciano de Barrancas is a family winery, loving and respectful of good wine and it’s traditions.
The vineyards of Domiciano de Barrancas are located in the heart of Barrancas, south of the Mendoza River. The climate is dry and sunny, with great thermal amplitude between day and night; this allows a slow and progressive maturation, harmonising the sugar-acidity ratio. The tall trellises are irrigated with the purest water, the melting of the Andes.
One of the particularities of Domiciano de Barrancas is the selection and nocturnal harvesting of the grapes, with the purpose that the grapes arrive fresh to the winery and thus obtain a better aromatic concentration, which translates into round and generous wines.
